Our client based in Pailles is looking for a senior Technical Lead with a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.The job incumbent shall:
- Assist in conducting and executing support services such as installation, maintenance, repairs and demonstration of related products and equipment.
- Lead a team of Technical Officer and supervise execution of works on sites.
- Be responsible for providing technical support and back-up to the sales team.
- Required to work on an on-call basis after working hours.
- Maintain a high level of grooming and dress code whilst on duty.
List of Duties:
- Ensures that planning and organisation are done in an efficient way by closely monitoring the work of Service Advisors, Spare Parts Advisors administrative staff and technical team.
- Ensures that the maintenance operations are as per standards and to manufacturers’ recommendations.
- Provide input for budget/capex estimates for the Maintenance Department.
- Ensures that job cards are opened/closed in a timely manner and regularly.
- Ensures submission of comprehensive quotations to clients and follow up as and when required.
- Monitors the client requests/complaints and ensures that latter are attended in a timely manner.
- Holds meeting as and when required and communicates on a regular basis about the status of the maintenance department.
- Ensures that sub-contractors comply as per contract agreement as and when required.
- Liaises with external suppliers and report any manufacturer’s defects on equipment.
- Implements action plan to minimise reworks.
