We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of air conditioning units across multiple showrooms, our head office, and other facilities.

 

We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of air conditioning units across multiple showrooms, our head office, and other facilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, with a focus on commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance, repair, and servicing of Cassette, Split, and Ceiling type AC units in multiple showrooms, our head office, and other facilities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with AC units, ensuring prompt resolution of any problems.
  • Clean and replace filters, ducts, drain pipes and other components to maintain efficiency and air quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices during installations and repairs.
  • Conduct system checks to identify potential problems and perform necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain records of services provided, including parts used and maintenance schedules.
  • Advise on energy-efficient practices and recommend improvements to optimize system performance.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and repair needs promptly.
  • Work with the facilities manager to coordinate AC servicing schedules and minimize disruption.
  • Assist with installations of new systems as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role, preferably with experience in Cassette, Split, and Ceiling type units.
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and common repair practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematic drawings.
  • Certification in air conditioning minimum NC3 or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license for manual vehicles.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts.
  • Comfort with working in a variety of environments, including high ceilings and confined spaces.
