Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR functions on Employee life cycle from Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding, Attendance/Leave Management, Performance Management System, Payroll Processing, HR administrative duties till Employee Exit; 
  1. Ensure that onboarding/induction of new recruits is well planned and that new recruits receive all necessary information, documents and access on their first day of joining the company and follow up of any documents to be submitted by the new recruits in a timely manner; 
  1. Prepare Payroll and ensure relevant filing with authorities are done in a timely manner; 
  1. Participate in training and development activities such as preparation of training plan for employees, coordinate trainings/certifications and preparation of feedback report on trainings; 
  1. Ensure that human resource policies, rules, regulations and procedures are properly interpreted and consistently applied so that all employees are treated fairly and equitably; 
  1. Ensure that Job Profiles are properly drafted and existing ones are reviewed to meet organisational needs in terms of roles and responsibilities; 
  1. Assist the Manager to carry out human resource planning and forecasting to match human resource requirements in terms of number, roles and level of responsibilities with organisational needs; 
  1. Ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of all modernisation, reforms and change management initiatives in the field of human resource management; 
  1. Prepare human resource proposals in the context of budgetary exercise; 
  1. Liaise with Practice Heads to establish a manpower and succession plan for their respective departments/groups; 
  1. Facilitate the promotion of staff welfare and a good, healthy and safe working environment; 
  1. Provide administrative support to the HR team; 
  1. Preparation of CVs of internal resources for tenders and proposals;  
  1. Updating the HR Skills Database on a regular basis; 
  1. Managing and monitoring attendance records through the Access Control System; 
  1. Compiling data for HR analytics and preparation of a series of reports relating to HR activities (recruitment, training, grievances, probation review, performance evaluations, etc); 
  1. Provide assistance in coordinating HR meetings and projects and take minutes of meeting; 
  1. Assist in employee engagement activities such as conducting internal surveys, organising/coordinating welfare activities. 
  1. Filing and record keeping of departmental files; 
  1. Ensure compliance with all Quality Processes. 
  1. Perform any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Human Resource and Administration Manager.  
  1. Carry out such acts as shall be required for the proper fulfilling of duties listed under (i) to (xxi) above. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in HR Management or Business Administration;
  • At least 3 years post qualification experience in the field of Human Resource Management;
  • Good knowledge of employment laws & regulations and company policies relating to personnel;

  • Good leadership, strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills;
  • Good problem solving skills and the ability to analyse complex human resource matters;
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines and with a keen eye for details;
  • Ability to handle disciplinary issues appropriately;
