HR Generalist

The purpose of this role is to oversee all human resources operations as well as a number of HR functions while ensuring it fits the Group’s overall business strategy.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 HR Operations

  • Provide daily HR guidance to business units across the employee life cycle
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain employee files and records
  • Help organize training & development initiatives
  • Organize employee performance reviews
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Attend employees’ queries in a timely manner
  • Organize welfare activities 
  • Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies.

 

 

 

 

Payroll Administration

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for the Group in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete reports in regards to the statutory bodies.
  • Address payroll related queries from employees promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with Finance team and External Auditors on payroll matters.

 

Compliance & Reporting

  • Work closely with business leaders to provide HR advice where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies as well as payroll regulations.
  • Generate payroll reports for Management and regulatory purposes.
  • Analyze trends and HR metrics to help develop HR programs and policies
  • Prepare annual HR budget and monitor monthly HR costs.

 

Strategic Planning

       Help the business unit be future-ready through:

  • Strategic workforce planning - ensure the company’s workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future
  • Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives
  • Assist Manager with talent management (PMS, succession planning, training needs, etc)
  • Works closely with Management and Team members to ensure good work relationships and high employee morale.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Degree in Human resources or other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HR practices and people management including payroll processing.

 

Knowledge & Technical Competencies:

  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
  • Demonstrate experience with HR metrics
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices

 

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
