The HR Executive will be responsible for working with the HR Manager on talent acquisition and HR generalist functions to support the organisation’s strategic workforce objectives.
Job Purpose
The HR Executive will be responsible for working with the HR Manager on talent acquisition and HR generalist functions to support the organisation’s strategic workforce objectives. The role will ensure seamless execution of recruitment activities, employee engagement initiatives, HR operations, and compliance with employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Work closely with hiring managers to define job roles, requirements, and interview strategies.
- Implement employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Utilise various sourcing strategies, including job portals, social media, and networking, to enhance candidate outreach.
- Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
HR Generalist Functions
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees, addressing queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support employee relations by handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in compliance with company policies and the Workers’ Rights Act.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and career development planning.
- Assist in payroll inputs, leave management, and other HR operational tasks.
HR Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics related to recruitment, employee turnover, and engagement trends.
- Maintain HR records and documentation in line with legal and company requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or HR generalist roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive HR matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
