Position Summary
The HR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing HR functions across multiple locations in Africa. This position requires a professional with extensive experience in HR operations, particularly in multicultural environments, and the flexibility to travel frequently to support on-site teams and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations:
- Manage end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and compliance.
- Maintain and update employee records across African locations.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations in all operating countries.

Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies for African projects.
- Manage talent pipelines to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently.
- Oversee employee training and development initiatives tailored to site-specific requirements.

Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to address workplace issues.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through consistent communication and team-building activities.
Travel Support:
- Conduct site visits to assess HR effectiveness and address employee concerns.
- Provide on-site HR support during major projects or organizational changes.

Strategic HR Initiatives:
- Partner with leadership to develop strategies for workforce planning and organizational development.
- Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion practices tailored to regional contexts.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in Africa.
- Proven ability to manage HR processes in a remote and multi-site environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in diverse settings.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and tools.
- Strong knowledge of African labor laws and employment practices.
- Fluent in English and French (other languages are a plus).
