Undertake a variety of HR administrative duties to facilitate daily HR function such as keeping track of employees records and supporting all HR processes.
Principal Accountabilities
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide relevant assistance.
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (personal information, new hires, separations, leaves, turnover rates etc.)
- Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports.
- Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, local and sick leaves, turnover rates) and ensure all legal/compliance requirements are met.
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks. assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
- Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
- Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
- Organise staff welfare and other activities to increase staff morale and productivity.
- Provide support/advice to all personnel including migrant workers
Experience and Skills
- Diploma in HR Management or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Knowledge of labour laws
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
