Tropic Knits Group, part of the textile cluster of CIEL Group, is one of the largest Fine Knits manufacturers in the Indian Ocean. We are a forward-thinking, dynamic organization committed to driving excellence, innovation and sustainability. We are currently seeking a skilled and highly motivated Group Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This role will provide the opportunity to make a direct impact on our operations and shape our strategy.

GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the selected candidate will lead the financial and management reporting process.

What you will be doing:

• Champion the budget preparation process
• Prepare and report accurate management accounts and reporting
• Ensure accurate and on-time financial accounts and consolidation packs
• Lead the external and internal audit process
• Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations.
• Collaborate with other departments for profit maximisation initiatives
• Ensure all our companies are compliant with all laws and regulations
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
• Lead on specific digitalisation processes

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar.
• Full professional qualification.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in business management and accounting software
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Strong technical, mathematical and analytical aptitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills
