JOB PURPOSE

Assist the Group Head of Digital Transformation in formulating and deploying a clear data strategy while designing, building, and maintaining a robust data warehouse. Develop and manage ETL pipelines to ensure seamless data integration and create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor`s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field.
  • Min of 3 years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis or a related Field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle for querying databases and managing big data
  • Previous Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and tools.
  • BI Tools, Data Analysis, Programming Languages, ETL Processes.
  • One of the following certifications would be a definite advantage:
  • Microsoft Certified, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Business Intelligence Professional.
  • Fluent in English and French

 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy to support business needs.
  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights for key stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data from different sources.
  • Evaluate existing workflows, structures and systems and work closely with IT and functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Act as a bridge between end-users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Oversee system integration projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments.
  • Implement KPIs to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Business Intelligence and Optimisation initiatives.
