Preskil Island Resort is looking for competent, committed, passionate, creative and enthusiastic for the post of front office supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure outstanding customer care at all times
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous manner at all times
- Accurately answer inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations
- Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations
- To prepare the Duty Roster for the department, taking into consideration special requests made by team member, such as special leaves
- To plan in advance the manning for the department by taking into consideration the workloads
- Allocation of rooms and checking of allocated guest rooms prior to guest arrival
- The monitoring and maintaining of all guest check-ins and checkouts
- Ensure correct handling of groups – arrivals, luggage, account instructions, departures, staffing levels for groups
Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue
Maintaining a strict control of all accounts, daily follow-up where required and verifying of all walk-ins method of payments
Daily checking of accounts, ensure all manual postings are done and late charges accounted for
Qualifications:
- Qualifications: An NC 3 in Front office or A diploma in Tourism Management will be an advantage
- Computer Literate
- Experience: 1 to 2 years experience as Senior/Head Receptionist
- Excellent communicator
- Personal Qualities: Ability to remain calm while under pressure
