Financial Accountant - (2510- FACC)

Our client in the agricultural sector is seeking to recruit a dynamic Financial Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the accounting team deliverables and performance in line with the set departmental objectives.
• Review of all business process areas to ensure completeness and accuracy, and making sure that transactions are timeously recorded.

Legal compliance and system improvements:

• Ensure all mandatory filings - VAT, TDS etc are done in a timely manner.
• Manage External Auditors, the audit process, and the timely provision of information.
• Check internal compliance to policies and procedures by conducting regular checks on source documents and systems records.

Review of and monitoring of monthly schedules and preparation of Monthly Management deliverables :

• Calculation of various expenses recharges/ Overhead allocations and absorptions.
• Review of stock.
• Review of FAR.

Reconciliations to review:

• Stock reconciliation.
• Logistics (Freight and other charges) reconciliation.
• Suppliers SOA reconciliation.
• VAT returns /Financials statements reconciliation.
• Producers Accounts monthly review and reconciliation.

Profile :

• ACCA qualified or any acceptable qualification (Bsc, BA, etc).
• Experience at least 3 years of working in a similar position.
• Desired experience in management accounting in manufacturing settings.
