With a workforce of over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry. We are currently looking for Electro Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
The Electro Technician shall be reporting to the Head Electro Mechanic.
With a workforce of over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry. We are currently looking for an Electro Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
The Electro Technician shall be reporting to the Head Electro Mechanic.
What you will be doing:
- Take charge of electrical repairs and preventive maintenance of our equipment and production machines (dyeing, finishing) to ensure optimal operation.
- Ensure the reliability of our control systems by performing preventive maintenance and necessary repairs based on programmable logic control (PLC).
- Be the expert in maintenance and repairs of our automated systems (Schneider, Allen Bradley and Lenze controllers).
- Collaborate closely with supervisor and your colleagues to share progress and challenges encountered.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to service calls to minimize production interruptions
- Actively contribute to achieving and maintaining the department’s budgetary goals
- Keep an accurate log of used parts and help maintain a well-organized inventory
- Provide your expertise in electrical equipment to support and assist mechanics in their tasks.
What are we looking for?
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Brevet de Technicien/ Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) or NT3 in Electronic/Electric.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a textile industrial environment, preferably in dyeing and finishing sections.
- Ability to fault find complex electrical and controls for Stenter, Steam Boiler and Digital textile printer.
- Strong knowledge of digital textile printing.
- Repairs of steam and thermal oil burners. (Saacke, Riello and Weishaupt)
- Strong knowledge about wiring of sensors, motors and invertors.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining textile industrial machineries, industrial communication protocols such as CAN bus and Profibus, Siemens and Schneider PLCs.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams. (Schematics)
- Panels building - Design of single phase, three phase and controls panel.
- Knowledge about pneumatic systems, automatic chemical dispensing systems, siemens, danfoss and lenze invertors.
- Strong Knowledge of PLCs Ladder programming / HMI / SCADA. (Schneider, So Machine)
