In Mauritius since 1997, Globalcom Co Ltd, is expanding its team and is looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional for the post of Electrical Engineer (with Site & Team Management Experience).
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and oversee the execution of electrical projects on-site. The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical knowledge but also proven experience in managing site operations and leading installation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & coordination of installations, ensuring work is completed on time and according to technical specifications.
- People & team management – overseeing technicians and subcontractors, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Project design, planning & execution – design, schedule, tracking progress until completion, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, industry standards and our internal quality standards.
- Document preparation – prepare and communicate technical reports/letters, drawings, O&M Manual, correspondence, site reports, etc.
Candidate's Profile:
- BEng in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in site-based project execution of on-site experience in M&E projects (Electrical, HVAC, or related fields)
- Proficient in AutoCAD & MS Project
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage installation teams
- Comfortable with multitasking, site challenges, and deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken & written)
- Valid driving license (site visits required)
Remuneration:Â Competitive package based on experience and performance
Working Days & Hours:
- Monday to Friday:Â 08:00 - 17:00
- Saturday:Â 08:00 - 12:30
- Must be available for urgent matters after hours
