Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Human Resources and a Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with hotel goals, oversee key HR functions, foster a motivated workforce, address employee relations, and ensure open communication while meeting deadlines set by management. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise in Human Resources while working with all stakeholders in a world-class resort environment.

As a Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategy to assist the hotel achieve the goals, being a Business Partner.
  • Being Involved in all business decisions and provide guidance and support as the HRBP.
  • Ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the Human Resources Department, including recruitment, Learning development, compensation, colleague engagement, performance management and other related functions.
  • Driving a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Creating an environment of free communications that drives colleagues’ satisfaction.
  • Proactively alerting hotel management on potential employee relation issues and addressing them in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrating leadership competencies and values.
  • Completing all duties within deadline as assigned by the Senior Management team.

Qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is essential. A Master's degree or relevant certifications, such as those from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) would be advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in HR Management, with a significant portion in leadership roles, prior experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws, including the Workers’ Rights Act and Catering Remuneration Order, to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and develop the HR team.
