Our client in the Property sector is seeking a dynamic Development Manager to lead their projects to new heights of success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate market sectors to identify emerging opportunities and determine their feasibility, bringing fresh insights to the table.
  • Develop detailed project concept designs and master plans, ensuring they not only meet but exceed our clients' strategic objectives.
  • Manage and communicate changes to master plans, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency throughout the process.
  • Oversee the transition from concept design to detailed design, ensuring a seamless handover to project delivery teams.
  • Lead decisions on trade-offs between project delivery and approved plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Lease out land to promoters, forging strong partnerships to generate revenue and drive growth for the organisation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government entities to facilitate smooth processing of licenses and permits, ensuring compliance every step of the way.
  • Conduct market intelligence research, design feasibility study templates, and gather crucial data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop financial models to assess project feasibility and viability, ensuring a clear path to success for every endeavour.
  • Launch Expressions of Interest and conduct due diligence exercises on external Developers and Vendors, fostering collaborative partnerships that drive results.
  • Prepare funding and budget proposals, and provide comprehensive monthly management reports, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged every step of the way
Profile:

  • Master of Business Administration Degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of practical experience in launching new development projects across various Property segments (i.e. Mixed-Use Developments; Offices; Hospitality; Retail)
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering / construction management.
  • The candidate should be a registered professional engineer and have relevant experience in the design of infrastructural projects.
