DUTIES:
- To prepare food and provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to all the customers (both internal and external) as per the set standards.
- To prepare all the required mise-en-place those is required for a smooth kitchen operation and ensure that the section is set prior to service.
- To control wastage without compromising on food quality.
- To ensure hygiene and cleanliness of his/her area at all times.
- To maintain all relevant equipment in clean hygienic condition to avoid contamination.
- To assist the chefs in implementing organisational standards on food quality, preparation and presentation.
- To always communicate customer complaints, suggestions, problems and compliments to the chef on duty immediately.
- To follow safety rules and procedures at work.
- To take full responsibility for the section in the absence of chefs
- To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- To maintain a favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
