Contract Specialist
Our client is seeking to recruit a Contract Specialist to join their team.
Purpose
Lead the contract activities of customer bids and the support of the pre and post sales management of contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages all administration activities around the contract lifecycle to ensure accurate and timely completion of contractual tasks.
- Carries out the daily operations and workflow of the commercial/contract team and facilitates logistics, such as meetings and reviews.
- Maintains master files and databases on bid responses, contract issues and renewals, ensuring resources are available to all team members.
- Prepares reports and assists in development of presentations, creating and distributing documents to relevant parties.
- Review, understand and manage customer contract(s).
- Support the resolution of issues linked to contractual / process issues. Help identify, assess and manage contractual risk as part of the bid team.
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 or more years of relevant work experience in business or legal.
Experience/Knowledge & Skills/Profession Competencies/Core Competencies
- Sound experience of contract Management in telecommunications or IT company.
- Strong understanding, structuring negotiating and managing contracts.
- Legal background is good to have but is not compulsory.
