The main purpose of this position is to assist the seniors in the day-to-day compliance functions as well as effectively coordinate all related tasks in a timely manner and ensure that all regulatory requirements are complied with.
Experience
- Required at least 2 to 3 years’ experience in AML/CFT compliance.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the local AML/CFT and sanctions laws, regulations and regulatory guidance.
Job Details
- Perform client onboarding in accordance with AML/CFT procedures in a timely manner.
- Participate in the ML/TF business risk assessment.
- Learn AML/CFT audit methodologies, which you will apply to different independent audit assignments.
- Deliver crucial contribution during audit planning, offsite and onsite reviews and presentation of findings in close collaboration with the Team Leader and with other colleagues assigned to AML/CFT audit project.
- Interact with key AML/CFT officers across client institutions to gain a deep understanding of the compliance practices and culture and be a trusted auditor for the client institution.
- Manage a variety of other initiatives and special projects, including assisting client institutions with client screening, the institutional ML/TF risk assessment and customer risk profiling in accordance with the relevant methodologies.
- Assist in developing AML/CFT training curricula and materials.
- Organise and manage AML/CFT training events.
- Review and update any client information on the data storage system.
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required by the Chief Compliance Officer
