Our Client is looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist.
Overview:
The Compensationand Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of employee compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation Management:
- Assist in implementing compensation and benefits policies in compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
- Calculate and manage salaries, bonuses, travel allowances, benefits, and other forms of remuneration for staff.
- Analysis and Benchmarking:
- Conduct market analyses to ensure competitive and industry-aligned compensation levels.
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, leave policies, retirement plans, and other related matters.
- Data and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compensation and benefits.
- Prepare monthly remuneration analysis and control reports for financial and tax purposes.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
- Legal Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure all compensation policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Degree with 3 years of experience) OR 10 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation regulations and market practices.
- Expertise in labor law.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Forms), communication tools (email and internet), and business applications such as Navision and Sicorax.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
