Exchange Lounge, situated on Ground Floor, 7 Exchange Square, Wall Street, Ebene, is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join its dynamic kitchen team.

 

Exchange Lounge is an upscale lounge restaurant and bar designed to provide an intimate, relaxed environment where guests can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, premium spirits, and a curated selection of light bites. 

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring that food is prepared in accordance with the restaurant’s standards. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen staff and a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, or fish station), ensuring smooth operation and timely service.
  • Ensure quality of food and service
  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, following the restaurant’s recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and available, maintaining proper stock levels and rotating ingredients as needed.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor portion control, waste, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organization within your section and throughout the kitchen.
  • Assist with training and mentoring kitchen staff on techniques, recipes, and food presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the Head Chef and Sous Chef regarding any concerns or kitchen needs.
  • Stay current with food trends and prepare food to required standart.
  • Follow all safety regulations, including the proper handling of kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Prepare and cook food to required standard

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
  • Diploma/Certification in culinary Arts
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about food and committed to providing the highest quality dishes.
  • Experience in catering is essential
