Cashier

Our company is looking for a cashier to work in our office at Paul Furcy Adele Street, Belle Village, Port Louis.The job applicant shall be responsible for providing financial and administrative services of the department. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures.

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain all necessary records including invoices, expenses, payments and transactions.
• Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation.
• Work on our ERP after proper training received to process payments for invoices and deposit
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments as applicable.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting Process.
• Process accounts receivable.
• Promptly handle phone calls and correspondences, both hard copies and electronically.
• Handle and Reconciliation of petty cash at agreed intervals.
• Any other cognate duties may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience

• School Certificate.
• Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
