The role requires a proactive and dynamic professional with strong sales acumen, market insight, and the ability to build lasting relationships with business owners while driving revenues.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential merchants across various sectors for on-boarding to the Emtel MFS (blink) ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and track them through the sales funnel
  • Conduct daily field visits to prospect and new merchant locations to pitch solutions, understand their needs, and ensure strong engagement and visibility on the ground
  • Present and demonstrate fintech products and services to prospective merchants, highlighting value propositions
  • Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure timely activation of merchant accounts
  • Provide on-boarding support, including setup, product training, and go-live assistance
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with on-boarded merchants through post-sales follow-ups and routine visits to boost usage and satisfaction in view to reduce churn and ensure win backs
  • Collaborate with marketing/ product, and support teams to enhance merchant experience and retention
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitors, and merchant pain points to provide relevant feedback for product improvement
  • On-board new B2B & B2C merchants for blink as per set targets
  • Provide the number of merchant visits conducted weekly/monthly and log on tools
  • Monitor and report the performance, usage on blink of merchants against budget
  • Maintain activation rate and transaction volume of acquired merchants
  • Attend to queries and resolve issues from merchants and other departments on a timely basis
  • Participate in event and field action organise by the team

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum HSC Holder
  • Candidates with at least one (1) year of experience in the sales field can be considered

Required Skills and Aptitudes:

  • Good negotiation and customer-centric skills
  • Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, dynamic and result oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Positive and can do attitude

 Candidate should possess a valid car driving license and a vehicle.
