A company based in the UK is looking for a part-time book-keeper to work remotely for the company.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining different accounts
  • Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
  • Adherence to bookkeeping policies and procedures
  • Accounts for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
  • Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
  • Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts
  • Maintaining a balanced general ledger
  • Preparing a trial balance for the accountant
  • Preparing financial reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing accounting for information
  • Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
  • Administrative duties based on operational requirements
  • Other cognate duties
  • Bank reconciliations


Requirements

  • ACCA level 1
  • Experience in Xero and QuickBooks
  • Experience using Dext is desired but not essential
  • Proficient in English both verbal and written
  • Fully IT literate

Working Hours

  • Remote work from home
  • Average of 10 hours per week on a Freelance basis
