A company based in the UK is looking for a part-time book-keeper to work remotely for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining different accounts
- Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
- Adherence to bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Accounts for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
- Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
- Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts
- Maintaining a balanced general ledger
- Preparing a trial balance for the accountant
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing accounting for information
- Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
- Administrative duties based on operational requirements
- Other cognate duties
- Bank reconciliations
Requirements
- ACCA level 1
- Experience in Xero and QuickBooks
- Experience using Dext is desired but not essential
- Proficient in English both verbal and written
- Fully IT literate
Working Hours
- Remote work from home
- Average of 10 hours per week on a Freelance basis
