We are looking for Bartender to join F&B Team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare mise en place for the bar including glasses, alcoholic/nonalcoholic drinks, garnishes, equipment as per hotel’ standard
- Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for Mixing beverages and serving guests
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
- Present drink menu, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Up sells additional products and offer menu recommendations
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snack
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes.
- Deliver drinks only upon receipt of micros docket for restaurants
- Serving guest in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and if required refusing any further serving in a polite way.
- Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
- Handle guest billing as per hotel’s procedure
Requirements:
- Minimum School certificate
- NC4 Certificate Bar
- Proficient in the art of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks with precision.
- Comprehensive understanding of beverages and cocktail preparation.
- Competent in handling basic calculations for billing and point-of-sale processes.
- Micros or cash register/ordering would be an advantage.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Extrovert and engaging personality.
- Highly organized and skilled at multitasking, performing well under pressure.
