Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar area. You will ensure that all aspects of bar service run smoothly, meeting company standards while providing exceptional guest experiences.
Job duties:
• Operational Excellence: Supervise daily bar operations to ensure efficient and profitable service, meeting company standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the bar team, assigning tasks, managing shifts, and providing training when necessary.
• Guest Service: Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Oversee stock levels, monitor spoilage, and assist with stocktaking. Ensure the bar is well-stocked and items are in good condition.
• Hygiene & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene practices, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Upselling & Revenue: Encourage the team to upsell food and beverages to drive sales.
• Reporting & Communication: Maintain accurate end-of-shift reports, ensure guest charges are correct, and communicate any issues to management.
• Maintenance & Housekeeping: Conduct routine inspections of the bar area and report maintenance issues for timely resolution.
• Guest Experience: Foster personalized experiences and build a network of regular guests through excellent service.
Qualifications & Skills:
• School certificate and technical education in Hotel Management.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role at a 5-star hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Computer literate, familiar with systems like MICROS is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences.
