• Ensure that the daily operation of the bar operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining its reputation and that customers are served promptly & courteously, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
•Ensure the bar and back area are clean and hygienic, making sure cleaning rotas are adhered to and appropriate records kept
•Ensure the bar run smoothly on a daily basis & are adequately stocked with all necessary goods. Informed F&B Manager of any stock problem.
•Manage cultural needs and expectations of guests
•Up selling and identification of additional revenue opportunities
•Oversees the operation of the bar and ensure that guest are served timely, courteously and as per the standard of the hotel
•Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are achieved and maintained at all times, and are monitored and updated when and where necessary
•Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders to guests through proper service
•Be aware and anticipate guest needs
•Develop and maintain professional relationship with customers to create loyalty
•Provides feedback to F&B Manager on bar operations efficiency (manning, process and sales), and come with suggestions for improvement
•Perfect knowledge of the Hotel standards
•Provide maximum guest satisfaction whilst maximizing sales
•Ensure that reporting procedures are being adhered to
•Any other cognate duties as delegated by the Resident Manager
