The Assistant Boutique Manager supervises the day-to-day store operations and stands as an ambassador of the brand. She plays a vital role in influencing the brand's presence as well as its expansion in the region.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for merchandising and managing day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Leading and driving sales to achieve targets
  • Meeting customer service standards
  • Supervising stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
  • Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits
  • Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
  • Using information technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and forward planning
  • Ensures standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  • Resolves health and safety, legal and security issues
  • Responds to customer complaints and comments
  • Organises special promotions, displays and events
  • Updates colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
  • Maintains awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing
  • Initiates changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local and international market

Candidate REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Diploma in Retail Management / Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as an Assistant Boutique Manager or Boutique Supervisor in 5* resort environment.
  • Experience in Island is desirable
  • Have excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • He or She will be highly motivated, have a passion for providing a luxury experience for all our guests, be solution oriented and be able to inspire creativity at all levels.
  • Previous food and beverage experience at a leadership level is essential.
  • Have excellent communication, leadership, and financial skills
