As a Finance and Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of our company. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and analysis.

The main goal of an Account Officer is to manage a company’s financial records
- Manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data.
- Maanage petty cash
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements to provide insights and recommendations to the Finance Manager.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of information.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecast.
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation.(Paye and others)
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform other cognitive duties as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum ACCA LEVEL 1
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
