New Goodwill Co. Ltd is looking for a qualified Accountant to assist in the preparation, computation and analysis of management account, financial forecasts and audit reports for our business operations.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Assist the Finance Manager in his daily duties

Manage all accounting transactions

Comply with financial policies and regulations

Consolidate weekly cash forecasts

Prepare monthly accounts and yearly financial statements which are IFRS compliant

Ensure timely statutory submission including CSG, PAYE, TDS, VAT, Corporate Tax & APS on MNS or other relevant regulatory bodies.

Support internal and external audits

Payroll Management

Ensure timely bank payments

 

Requirements and skills:

Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.

Good IT knowledge & advanced skills in Microsoft office

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Good written and spoken English and French

Strong interpersonal, organisational, administration and communication skills

Ability to work autonomously, take initiatives and be proactive

Time management skills

Proficiency in using Accounting Software (SAGE Evolution)

Good Team player

Maintain confidentiality of data and departmental security at all times

Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and provide suggestions for continuous improvement

 

Requirements:

BSc in Accounting, Fully Qualified or Degree in Accounting/ Finance or ACCA Level 1/ 3 nearly completed

At least 3 to 5 years of work experience as Accountant
