Accountant

They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage their financial records, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support the company’s overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in financial software, and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with financial policies and regulations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
- Ensure timely bank payments and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Develop and manage budgets to support the company’s financial planning
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in financial records
- Analyze business plans and financial data to provide insights for decision-making
- Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis to guide the company’s financial strategy
- Assist with other accounting projects and ad hoc financial tasks as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and using accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax preparation and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
