The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of ACCOUNTANT for its retail outlets at Tribeca Mall in Trianon.

Our latest F&B outlets, which were recently launched, are Café LUX* Riserva, Cookies and Cream, offering handcrafted cookies, rich and creamy ice creams, and decadent gelatos and Smokey Joe, a Gourmet Burger House.

The successful incumbent will:

• Take and assume responsibility for all accounting functions.
• Maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, account payables, account receivables, sales records and cash collections.
• Ensure that the invoices and payments match correctly by cross-checking the relevant documents and records.
• Maintain and review financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws.
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Assist the chief financial officer in implementing new accounting policies, company acts, and regulations and highlight accordingly.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and other reports to be submitted to the Group Finance Manager.
• Prepare and submit a list of all creditors to the Income Tax Department.
• Prepare annual/monthly/quarterly budgets, cash flow planning & forecasts.
• In collaboration with the human resources executive and operations manager, assist with the monthly payroll process for the retail outlets.
• Assist internal and external auditors with supporting documents to complete audits.
• Deal with both incoming and external queries. 

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher School Certificate (HSC), with Accounting.
• Tertiary education at Degree Level in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA qualified or equivalent qualifications in accounting or finance from a recognised institution. 

Previous Experience

• A minimum of 7  years of working experience in the Accounting Environment.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in a similar position.
