We are looking for a trainee to join the Sustainable & Inclusive Development department based at our Head Office in Bagatelle.

 

Overview of the role:

We are looking for a trainee (with at least 6 months of experience) to join the Sustainable & Inclusive Development department for a period 6 months.

 

In this role, you will be responsible to assist the Sustainable Development Coordinator of QSR & Leisure on admin tasks, follow ups, compiling & reporting and sustainability projects (green key, help implement projects per NFT pillars, etc). 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

1. Sustainability Reporting | QSR & Leisure.

  • Follow up with stakeholders to gather data for sustainability reporting (e.g. water & energy consumption, waste, and other relevant sustainability metrics).
  • Compile and input collected data into monitoring database and prepare monthly reports.

2. Sustainability Certification for Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth.

  • Assist in various tasks related to obtaining a sustainability certification.
  • Liaise with related departments to retrieve information and conduct follow-ups (e.g., gathering information for creating new policies, SOPs, etc.).

3.Other projects | QSR & Leisure.

  • Seek quotes and coordinate with collaborators for the implementation of other projects (QSR & Leisure).
  • Assist in organizing social and environmental events related to international sustainability days and more.
  • Create informative and educational materials on sustainability for staff and guests (educative posters, signages and other forms of communication). 

 

Candidate's profile:

  • A degree in Sustainable development, tourism and hospitality or in any relevant courses.
  • Preference will be given to candidates based in the central region of the island
  • Minimum 6 months of experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Can join immediately
