Aqua Science is seeking to recruit a Technical Manager to Oversee and lead a multidisciplinary technical team, managing daily operations, projects, budgets, and personnel. Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical matters, including installations, repairs, and project execution.

 

Job Role: 
  • Lead & Manage the technical team comprising of engineers, technicians, electricians, plumbers & handymen.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with colleagues & customers through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for projects , installation , repairs  & technical matters.
  • Lead, maintain, improve, and develop strategies, systems, processes, products, and services of the technical team.
  • Manage projects, budgets, and personnel.
  • Schedule, plan, organise the daily activities of the technical team for smooth, effective and timely execution of works & installations.
  • Plan and organize procurement of necessary materials required for on time execution and completion of works.
  • Attend site meetings
  • Carry out site inspections & surveys.
  • Submit timely Progress of Works Reports to Management & Clients.
  • Prepare and submit Technical Reports, CAD Drawings, Program of Woks as and when required.
  • Work closely with consultants, project managers, contractors, engineers, technicians, and other professionals.
  • Coordinate and lead the technical team to deliver high-quality installation products and solutions.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects and services to customers.
  • Liaise with local and foreign suppliers or contractors relating to technical matters.
  • Keep detailed records of projects, drawings ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technical innovations & changes to effectively position our offerings & installations.
  • Ensure that health & safety aspects are strictly adhered by team members of the technical team.
  • Prepare & submit Capex & Opex for tools and other items required by the team for safe and effective installations to be carried out.
  • Any other job assignments as prescribed by the management team.

Qualification & Required Skills:

  • A diploma or degree holder in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Valid Driving Licence
