Position description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive intern to join our Billing & Collection Team for a 4-month Internship Program. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in billing operations, accounts receivable management, and financial processes, while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
Billing Support: Assist in managing the billing process for Rated customers, contributing to accurate invoicing and smooth operations.
Account Management: Engage with an assigned portfolio of aging receivable accounts via phone and email to recover past-due payments.
Query Resolution: Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve invoice-related queries, contributing to timely and accurate solutions.
Dispute Investigation: Research disputed accounts to determine the cause and validity of delinquent payments and propose appropriate actions.
Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate significant collection issues while taking appropriate action to address them.
Process Documentation & Reporting: Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation and assist in reporting activities, contributing to process efficiency improvements.
Current University Student: Eligible for an on-site internship with the ability to establish an internship agreement.
Passion for CSR and Sustainability: A strong interest and commitment to CSR and sustainability initiatives.
Technical knowledge: Good excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Finance Knowledge (a plus): Prior experience with finance-related processes or accounts receivable is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
Proactive and Solution-Oriented: Creative approach to problem-solving and a proactive mindset.
Detail-Oriented and Analytical: Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret data accurately.
Global Mindset: Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
