A Tax Analyst is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all tax-related matters for the company. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining records, advising on tax planning strategies, and staying updated on current tax laws and regulations
- VAT (Value Added Tax): Strong understanding of VAT principles and regulations, with the ability to manage VAT compliance and reporting.
- Corporate Income Tax: In-depth knowledge of corporate income tax regulations, preparation, and filing requirements for companies.
- Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools to support tax reporting and compliance.
- Transfer Pricing: Basic knowledge of transfer pricing principles, including pricing methods and documentation requirements, though not necessarily at an advanced level.
- International Taxation: Familiar with international tax regulations, including withholding tax, tax treaties, and cross-border tax planning.
- Local Taxation: Strong understanding of local tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and other regional taxes specific to the jurisdiction.
- Legal Monitoring: Skilled in legal monitoring, staying updated on changes to tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure adherence and avoid legal issues.
