Follow up closely on all matters related to Health & Safety raised in the Health & Safety Committee.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support on Safety & Health matters (8 hours per week).
- Comply with all current and future Health & Safety requirements.
- Handle all issues with respect to the applicable laws on Health & Safety with particular attention being paid to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) as amended from time to time.
- Keep the Company and management updated on all current issues and potential future changes concerning Health and Safety and related matters.
- Carry out all duties as listed in OSHA and other relevant legislation and advice on practicable measures and appropriate techniques to be implemented to minimise any risk in any process.
- Prepare H&S training plan - Design and implement appropriate training programmes to meet the requirements of the Act and any other enactment as well as specific training needs identified dealing with Occupational Safety and Health.
- Follow up closely on all matters related to Health & Safety raised in the Health & Safety Committee.
- Ensure that procedures are in place, understood and followed for first aid and any emergency arising in offices and on all sites.
- Perform audit(s) on all health and safety issues across the company at such frequencies as stipulated in OSHA.
- Advise the company in cases of non-compliance with the applicable laws on health and safety issues and forthwith formulate and drive an action plan for corrective actions.
- Assist in all other activities of the Admin. Department including environmental related activities & analyse data.
- Ensure staff awareness and education on Health & Safety matters.
