Overview of the Role ๐Ÿ”

Leading the creation of an Asset Management Program and policy in collaboration with senior leadership, the Asset Management Coordinator primary role involves overseeing the digital management of property assets across various business units, focusing mainly on the efficient operation of the CMMS Sidekick.

The Asset Management Coordinator will establish asset hierarchy and data gaps, service levels, risk assessments and asset lifecycle strategies for sustainable financial planning.

Key Responsibilities ๐Ÿ“‹

  • Oversee the optimum running and operation of the CMMS Sidekick across all Business Units, ensuring it aligns with the organizational goals.
  • Ensure all property assets are manage as per Suppliers' specifications, focusing on maximizing asset lifespan and efficiency.
  • Regularly review and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) for all Business Units, focusing on digital tracking of asset valuation and depreciation.ย ย 
  • Compile and provide detailed monthly reports to Property Management and all concerned parties, highlighting performance, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with Sidekick Service Support for any required updates or improvements in the system to enhance asset management efficiency.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies and plans focusing on digital aspects to enhance asset performance and reduce costs.ย ย ย 
  • Perform digital audits of the CMMS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, while physical audits may be required occasionally.ย ย 
  • Provide guidance and support to Business Units on best practices in digital asset management.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to align digital aspects of asset acquisition and disposal with organizational policies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in asset management to continually improve processes and strategies.ย 

Ideal Candidate Profile ๐ŸŽฏ

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification or experience in asset management would be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of asset management.
  • Excellent analytical skills for monitoring asset performance and financial records.
  • Ability to produce detailed and accurate monthly reports.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in IT systems related to asset management, including CMMSย  ย
