The reservation Manager has the responsibility to handle and respond in a professional manner to reservation requests of our valuable customers as well as establish a sound working relationship with our suppliers – Hotels and other partners.
- Ensuring that all bookings are correctly treated and responded to within a maximum period of 24 hours.
- Ensuring that responses to partners reflect accurate information and that tariff are applied correctly.
- Coaching/training Reservation Consultants so that work reflects standards of Mauritours
- Developing product knowledge of the team. Ensuing that the team understands the requirements of the Marketing Department / Partners and translating same in terms of advice to partners, up-selling of services where required.
- Review , improve and devise procedures that will improve productivity and customer responsiveness.
- Checking of all invoices of special services prior to effect payment by Accounts Department.
- Take immediate corrective and preventive actions where there has been failures.
- Perform any other cognate duties.
