PIM is looking for a Head of Quality. Candidate needs to hold an HSC, with a Diploma in Quality Management Systems and have sound knowledge of QMS, EMS and Food Safety Standards

Applicant profile:

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a Quality Control/ Quality Assurance/ process related environment, preferably in a Manufacturing/ Production environment.
• Previous management system auditing experience.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Computer proficient and at ease with MS Office.
• Good Communication and listening skills.
• Meticulous with a high attention to details.
• Ability to take initiatives and responsibilities.

Main Duties:

• Establish and implement management systems, standards and ensure continuous improvement of same.
• Translate quality systems into operational parameters and ensure compliance to same.
• Monitor performance of products from design to production.
• Responsible for Quality Control/ Quality Assurance across product lines.
• Lead the Quality Team in trouble shooting problems.
• Responsible for Quality Control/ Quality Assurance across product lines.
• Participate in the development of product specifications.
• Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and determine sampling procedures to be used at these points.
• Prepare reports regarding nonconforming products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding quality issues and come up with solutions
• Ensuring compliance to regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
• Keeping accurate document and perform statistical analysis.
• Attend meetings and submit reports.
• Perform internal audits
