Overview

Venture Capital is looking for a Trainee for a 6-months period to assist the Venture Capital team in its operations.

Main Responsibilities

• To appraise new investment opportunities.
• To review financial models to support value creation plan.
• To perform company valuation.
• To build a knowledge platform on East African countries.
• To build country research, sector research and analysis work.

Profile of candidate

1. Minimum a Master degree (Bac+5) in Accounting or Finance or any related field.
2. Having an experience in the field will be an advantage.
3. Very good knowledge and enthusiasm for finance, private equity and investment management
4. Excellent financial modelling skills comfort with accounting
5. Very fluent in English both written and spoken.
6. Excellent knowledge of MS office package.
