Job Profile
Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for Trainee Engineer to deliver product demonstration, attract prospective clients and maintain strong relationship with existing clients for our Residential Air Conditioning & Air Treatment Solutions Department.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Provide expert advice on installations, commissioning and service to customers that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Assist in project implementation and attend site meetings whenever required.
- Assist sales team in delivery of proposals and presentations where necessary to close strategic deals.
- Assist in preparation, follow-up and submission of tenders or quotations.
- Follow-up with suppliers on technical aspects of existing and new products.
- Keep up to date with market trends and new technologies.
- Ensure that a long-term business partnership is built-up with our customers whereby their needs and requirements are understood.
- Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical/Mechatronics.
- NC3 or NC4 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning would be an advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role together with experience in sales will be an advantage.
- Product knowledge in solution selling to meet clients’ expectations.
- Upselling and cross-selling - ability to identify opportunities for expansion revenue and stay on top of any changes or new opportunities.
- Ability to build network to leverage good customer relationships.
- Professionalism and outgoing personality.
- Critical thinking skills and negotiating powers.
- Valid driving licence for private car.
