Main Responsibilities
·Accompany visitors on local tours, guide them within a specific region, area, city or site
·Provide special information on history, culture and monuments of Mauritius
·Support Groups & Incentives Department in providing customer service for Groups handling
·Coordinate pre-arranged tour activities such as visits to local attractions, restaurants or shops, rides, cruises and extended tours
·Welcome guests at hospitality and airport desks
·Act as translator for weddings
·Support Commercial department in providing customer service to Educational Tours, Press Trips & Inspection Trips.
Specific Requirements
•HSC or equivalent
•Fluent in Italian is compulsory - (Both written & spoken)
•Fluent in French & English
•Experience as Guide would be an advantage
•Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer relation skills
•Committed to continuous learning and development
•Willingness to work odd hours, including Public Holidays & Sundays
