Our client is seeking to recruit a Technical Operations Analyst.
Responsibilities
To administer and support Forum’s trading platforms so that a continuous reliable operation is provided to the business;
To operate a service desk and monitor alerts and escalate where necessary to the appropriate department;
Technical monitoring of all Forum infrastructure;
Monitor connectivity of participants;
Ensure email alerts are investigated and forwarded to the appropriate department within Forum;
Operate the Forum service desk;
Liaising with external supplier service desks;
Assist with the creation and maintenance of Market Operations Processes and help improve operational efficiency;
Participation in design and subsequent test of applications used by Market Operations;
Provide assistance/support to other team members where necessary;
Help build team culture with focus on customer service, delivery, quality and knowledge sharing.
Profile
At least 2 years’ experience in similar IT Support role;
Experience in trading applications or city financial services would be a plus;
Good communication skills;
Awareness of regulations and security controls;
Familiarity with behaviour of financial instruments;
System monitoring;
Operating system administration;
Knowledge management.
