Our client in the distribution sector is seeking to recruit a Store Helper who will report to the Director, Operation Director, Store Keeper and Sales and Admin Co-ordinator.
Responsibilities:
Store Keeping/ Store Management:
Entries
- Assist in Loading & unloading operations.
- Physical count of all entries of items and compare with packing list.
- Immediate report (with 2 hours) of all missing and broken items according to packing list.
- Labeling.
- Responsible for issuing new codes according to management policy and report to Director.
- Storage as per store arrangement & improvement of arrangement.
- Balance Customers accounts both Rs and Qty.
Deliveries
- Prepare deliveries according to packing list (physical count).
- Deliver items solely according to delivery notes signed/invoices.
- Help in assembling of required equipment ordered in break down kit.
- Help in packing, rapping and loading items for deliveries.
- Show room sales deliveries (physical count) solely according to invoices and delivery notes signed.
Maintenance
- Manage and oversee maintenance, repairs and improvement of store building structure devices and yard.
- Ensure store is always kept clean and tidy.
- Help during emergency only with showroom, office maintenance and cleaning.
Security
- Ensure no unauthorized person visits store.
- Ensure alarm system is 24/24 operational - monitor and closing.
- Supervise showroom stock and report weekly.
- Ensure update of showroom new products.
Others:
- Assist Auditors for year ending 2020 stock count
Administration:
- Counting of stock.
- Matching of Sage A/C software new key in orders with packing lists and invoices of suppliers and with items received.
- Report to Director any problems.
Profile:
- HSC.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the same field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team Player.
