The Site Engineer is responsible for the performance of one part of a large contract, a medium sized contract or a number of small contracts. He will be primarily based on a building construction site and will be working for the main contractor.
To ensure the company’s Quality Assurance System is implemented
To review and provide suggestions on improvements to the company’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control System
To ensure quality of the works is monitored for all activities on site from the start – including labour only, domestic, nominated, selected and direct subcontractors
To draw internal and short term programmes for all sections, including subcontractors
To ensure areas are safe and ready for subcontractors to be given access timeously
To assist in the compilation of monthly cost value reports
To ensure taht no avoidable costs are incurred
Preferred Qualifications
Degree Civil Engineering (B.Eng/M. Eng)
Preferred Experience
At least 3 years as Site Engineer on Building Construction Site.
