OBJECTIVE
Our business headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa, focuses on mobile transacting and the development of digital applications, while specialising in integration into retailer’s point-of-sale’s. This posting will be based in Mauritius.

We are looking for a Mobile developer with 2-4 years’ experience in a C based language to join our mobile development team as cross-functional developers who will build mobile apps for IOS, Android and Windows. You will be responsible for creating mobile apps covering payments, loyalty, coupon and vouchers as well as other client requirements. We will provide in-house / on-the-job training during which you will be coached in mobile development methodologies, patterns and techniques. You will be part of a team of Testers, Analysts, Developers and DevOps engineers who deliver remarkable solutions to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Technical analysis of requirements and design of mobile apps
• Understanding of, and adherence to, the wiGroup development standards and patterns
• Design and development of apps for IOS, Android and Windows.
• Unit and integration testing
• Application documentation
• Application deployment to app stores
• Post go live monitoring of usage and crashes
• Enhancements and version management
• Work closely with IT Peers and other internal departments to deliver state-of-the art and leading edge mobile apps and a responsive web experience
• Respond to alerts during and after business hours relating to service outage and or latency issues

REQUIREMENTS
1. Knowledge
• Software and database design
• 2-4 years’ experience in a C based language
• Restful web services
• Development standards and patterns
• Mobile application development experience
• Test automation experience would be a bonus!
• Familiar with related mobile development disciples

2. Qualifications
• B.Sc / B.A. Degree (equivalent or higher) relating to computer science or information technology.
