Senior Accounts Clerk

Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial  transactions.

 Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

 Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.

 Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.

 Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.

 Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.

 Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.

 Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings.

 Support the Accounts Manager in ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies :

 HSC with Accounting / Degree in Accounting / Finance

 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.

 Proficiency in accounting software, Sage Enterprise and MS Office suite,   particularly Excel

 Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

 Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

 Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

 Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

 Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.

 High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.

Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager:

 Report directly to the Accounts Manager and collaborate closely with the finance   team.

 Provide regular updates on tasks and projects to the Accounts Manager.

 Seek guidance and support from the Accounts Manager as needed.

 Assist the Accounts Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
