Sales Representative - Traditional Trade

 

  • Retain present customers (build up relationship with clients)
  • Manage client portfolio: monitor sales figures per Brand on a yearly and monthly basis, identify client’s needs,
  • Listing of actual and new item lines within product portfolio. Focus on Strategic Brands and Game Changers.
  •  Monitor debtors, credit terms and limits within a sound risk assessment.
  •  Identify and seize opportunities available for development
  •  Monitor merchandising: visibility and respect of clauses as per deal and trade visits reports from Management.
  • Plan, organise, implement end-of-month and one-offs promotions followed by appropriate debrief & Reporting according to company’s standards and guidelines
  • Maintain profitability by using expenses efficiently and monitoring expenses (discount, advertising/donation, vehicle and petrol usage)
  • Provide excellent customer service:
  • Ensure that all customers are being visited as per scheduled route
  • Be pro-active to potential problems
  • Find solutions to handle clients’ complaints
  • Report market activity to management.
  • Ensure good stock keeping in lorry
  • Assist Inventory Team during stock count
  • Ensure daily cash lodgment are done
