Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import steps and procedures. Liaise with suppliers and Clearing Agent.
• Apply for all types of Import Permits.Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.
• Maintains a database that tracks merchandise.
• Processes claims on merchandise shortages and overages.
• Import Loan preparation.Maintains close Relationship with clearing agents’ team.
• Overview orders from customers or sales representatives.
• Liaise with customers for delivery planning.
• Assist / overview in the preparation of orders, when necessary.
• Assist the accountant in sending statement of accounts monthly.
• Follow up of debtors.
• Send quotation / correspondence to customers ( HoReCa and GMS)
• Listing and delisting of products.
• Assit the director and sales executives in ourdoor meetings and presentation of products
• Prepare Creditors payments.
• Minutes of Sales and Admin meeting.
• Prepare Invoices and Statement of Accounts (Sage Evolution Accounting Software).
• Assist in reordering of goods with suppliers
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Expérience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one (two)year of experience in a customs warehouse or similar setting required.
• Prior experience preparing customs and shipping documents preferred.
