SPA TRAINER

WE ARE RECRUITING: SPA TRAINER

The job incumbent will be responsible:

• To plan, organise and ensure the smooth and efficient coordination of Spa training in line with the Spa Standard Operating Procedures.
• To develop knowledge and competencies of our Therapists by providing on-the-job training and coaching.
• To conduct on-going Spa Training whilst ensuring that Spa Team Members are up-to-date with product and treatment knowledge and that the standards of service are maintained.
• To assist in the research and development of new spa and wellness services and products as well as treatments.
• To assist in the documentation of the LUX* Me Spa Standard Operating Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
• Recognised qualifications in Spa and/or Beauty Therapy: CIBTAC or CIDESCO.
• Registered Trainer with the MQA. (Mauritius Qualifications Authority)

PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE

• A minimum of 2 years of Spa training experience in the hospitality industry.
• A minimum of 2 years of Spa working experience as a Therapist preferably in a 4 or 5 star resort.
• Knowledge and experience of integrated wellness approaches.

• Well versed with spa and wellness  worldwide development trends.
• Strong knowledge of hot stone massage, foot reflexology and Shiatsu.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office package.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
